Dr. Lydia Bock
President & CEO
Dr. Bock serves as Geodetics’ President & CEO. Dr. Bock has 35+ years of industry experience including positions at SAIC and Raytheon. Prior to founding Geodetics, Dr. Bock was an independent business and technology consultant. Dr. Bock’s experience spans a wide variety of hi-tech industries including electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, in the commercial and the defense industries. Dr. Bock holds M.Sc. from Ohio State University and a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Bock was awarded the Raytheon’s Micciolli Scholar award and the American Electric Power “operating ideas” award. In 2010, Dr. Bock received the Ohio State University 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award recognizing distinguished achievement on the part of the Ohio State University alumni in the field of engineering. In 2011, Dr. Bock was awarded the 50 fastest Woman Owned/Led companies in North America by the Women President’s Organization (WPO).
Dr. Jeff Fayman
Dr. Fayman serves as Geodetics’ CTO. Prior to joining Geodetics, Dr. Fayman developed custom solutions for firms including Price Waterhouse, Gensia Pharmaceuticals, Science Applications International (SAIC) and Cisco Systems. Dr. Fayman Co-founded and served as VP Business Development for Virtue Ltd. – a company developing 3D solutions for the Internet and e-Commerce applications. Prior to the acquisition of the company, Dr. Fayman served on the board of directors for Estimotion Inc. Dr. Fayman holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a M.Sc. in Computer Science, both from San Diego State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Dr. Fayman has published over 40 papers in the academic literature in the fields of Robotics, Computer Vision, Computer Graphics and Navigation Systems.
Federal Contracts Specialist
Carolyn Harris supports and advises Geodetics on business matters as part of her General Counsel Services practice serving San Diego high-technology companies, with a focus on Federal and commercial contracts. Her current practice followed a decade with the Rocketdyne Division of Rockwell International Corporation and another 6 years with a San Diego publicly-held company as their General Counsel. She has a double major bachelor of science in finance and accounting from the University of Arizona and a JD from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California.
CFA Corporate Development
Jimmy Herman has served as Corporate Development Advisor to Geodetics since 2014, assisting the company on its various strategic initiatives. Jimmy is also principal at TransactionView, an M&A-focused consulting firm. Prior to founding TransactionView, Jimmy was Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at SAIC where he successfully completed over 40 acquisitions and divestitures in both commercial and defense sectors with an aggregate deal value of approximately $2 billion. Jimmy holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA and is a CFA charterholder.
Director of Engineering
Mr. Honcik has over 30 years experience in software/hardware integration and structured software design for applications including real-time embedded systems, Windows programs, graphics, telecommunications, aerospace, flight simulation, and airborne instrumentation. Prior to joining Geodetics, David worked as a software engineer for Qualcomm in San Diego, California (1997-1999), Metz Smith Inc. in Redmond, Washington (1995-1997), Allied Signal Aerospace in Redmond, Washington (1993-1995), Sundstrand Data Control in Redmond, Washington (1992-1993), DELCO Systems Operations, Goleta, California (1990-1991), and Boeing in 1981-1989.
