Rugged Hybrid Dual-SAASM INS
Geo-hNAV™ SAASM is a rugged, hybrid dual SAASM GPS-aided inertial navigation system which delivers consistent position and attitude measurement accuracy whether the platform is static or moving. The Geo-hNAV SAASM combines the best features of the Geo-iNAV SAASM inertial navigation system with the Geo-Pointer SAASM dual-antenna heading system. For stationary or slowly moving platforms, precise heading is derived from GPS measurements using two GPS antennas rigidly mounted on the platform, separated by a typical distance of 1 to 3 meters. In dynamic conditions, the combination of GPS and IMU provides enhanced position, velocity and attitude measurements.
