GWA
MILES Generic Weapon Adapter
The MILES Generic Weapon Adapter incorporates a wide range of sensors for detecting a trigger event from an un-instrumented MILES device. Upon detecting a trigger event, the GWA emits a sequence of MILES Communication Code messages causing an instrumented device (IWS, ITS, WITS, etc.) to send a shooter pairing event to the EXCON.
Optionally, the GWA can be instrumented via the RS232C port on the expansion connector and provide a built-in MILES PAN. The GWA is a generic device, which implements every MILES input/output interface in a single compact unit.
